Concept
In Spain, over 50,000 people rely on a single notification to secure their work for the day. This project critiques employment systems based on response speed, where failing to be the fastest means losing your livelihood. Through a reflex-based game using colored LEDs, we simulate the constant pressure faced by digital platform delivery drivers. What appears to be a simple agility challenge is, in reality, a reflection on how technological immediacy is shaping our labor survival and well-being.
Technical development
The device was designed under a modular architecture philosophy, allowing internal components to be interchangeable and easy to repair, despite its compact exterior finish. The game logic is entirely managed with Arduino, coordinating the LED lighting system and pressure sensors. For the casing fabrication, I used AutoCAD to design precision parts for laser cutting. This project demonstrates my ability to translate a complex sociological concept into a functional physical object, balancing internal wiring organization with the final user experience.
